Spring Forward With Scotts Florida Select Mulch!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scotts Miracle-Gro for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Spring was a little late in coming just about everywhere this year.  Here it is the first week of May and some areas are still having snow and cold temps it crazy.  It was in the 80s here yesterday and today it is only in the 50s. It time for me to start tinking about what to do in my gardens at home.  I have a shade garden along the back of the house that has hostas and astilbe in it.

This little guy just started peeking out.

As you can see my astilbes are over run with spring weeds and wild strawberries.

I also have some ferns and hydrangea on the other side of the steps. But that's not the only place that needs a little TLC. Up in the front yard I have my rose bushes and my huge lilac bush.

This is one of my climbing rosebushes next to the lilac bush. Of course they both have the spring weeds chokeing them too.

Here is a close up of the lilac bush.  It is in full bloom right now and smells wonderful.

This monster of a rose bush came up out of no where.  I had another bush here at one time but hubby mowed it down one year and killed it.  Then about two years later this one popped up. Now we are having a hard time keeping it under control

I think it is time for me to start thinking about putting some mulch around all of my plants.  Scotts Nature Scapes mulch comes in a varity of colors for any gardern.

And Deep Forest

I think for my garden I would use the Sierra Red or the Deep Forest.
